Office Specialty Filing & Storage Attains Cradle to Cradle Certification – All storage lines achieve Silver Certification

Holland Landing, Ontario, May 5, 2009 – Inscape is pleased to announce that all Office
Specialty filing and storage products have achieved Cradle to Cradle Silver Certification. Cradle
to Cradle (C2C) is an environmental standard that ensures each product component has been
screened for potential hazards towards human and environmental health. It provides a company
with a means to tangibly measure achievement in environmentally-intelligent design.

C2C Certification applies to all Office Specialty storage lines including 7900 Series, 8900 Plus,
9900 Series, Storage Centers, Radius, Linear and Arcus.  “Achieving C2C certification for our
storage lines is a milestone for Inscape as we continue to transform our organization into a
sustainable entity. This is the first step as we look towards attaining stringent environmental
certification for all our product lines” says Peter Brunelle, President and CEO.

Cradle to Cradle is an environmental standard regulated by McDonough Braungart Design
Chemistry (www.mbdc.com). C2C means using environmentally safe and healthy materials;
designing for material reutilization such as recycling or composting; using renewable energy
and practicing energy efficiency; efficient use of water, and maximum water quality
associated with production and instituting strategies for social responsibility.
